1. Planning: Jakarta is spread over an area of about 740.3 km². This does not include the land area beyond Jakarta including Bekasi, Karawang, Bogor, Puncak, Bandung etc. Try to plan your travel schedule and appointments according to their proximity. Take note that locations in North, South, East, West and Central Jakarta may be difficult to travel, especially on peak hours. If you having difficulty planning your schedule, simply consult our staff and they will advice you on the best and most time efficient travel plan.
2. Avoid Peak Hours: Peak hours are generally understood from 7:00AM - 10:00AM in the morning, 5:00PM - 8:00PM in the evening, and on Fridays. However, with traffic in Jakarta, this may be difficult to predict.
3. Learn basic daily phrases in Bahasa Indonesia: It helps to learn basic phrases and some Jakarta slang.
