Fatahillah (History) Museum
Jakarta History Museum, also known as Fatahillah Museum provides information on Jakarta’s history, starting from the prehistoric age to current age, in a creative way, through the collections of the museum. The museum has up to 23,500 collections, some of which are inherited from Oud Batavia Museum or Old Jakarta Museum, received from the government of DKI Jakarta, individual or institution grants. Material of the collection are varied, some are of medal, wood, crystal, ceramic, earthenware, porcelain, leather, paper, cloth, and bones.
The location of Jakarta History Museum is near to Wayang Museum, Fine Art and Ceramic Museum and Batavia Cafe, and Sunda Kelapa Harbour which are also interesting places to visit.
