Sea World Indonesia
Sea World Aquarium is possibly the best of its kind in Southeast Asia. Home to over 120 species of exotic sea life, it is an important conservation centre, especially for marine life of Indonesia. An 80 metre long transparent underwater tunnel allows the visitor to see the world from a divers perspective, without getting wet. The rest of the building is divided into fresh and sea-water areas with expert staff on hand to answer your marine questions.
"Touch Pool" allows you to touch various forms of marine life and educational films run most of the day as part of Sea World's on-going conservation awareness programme. However, the star of the exhibit must be endangered Indo-Pacific Dugong or Sea Cow. These gentle creatures are difficult to keep in captivity due to their timid nature.
